CVMR plans to build a nickel refinery

The Turkish office of CVMR announced early this week that they intended to go ahead with building a nickel refinery with the production capacity of 2,000tpy in Turkey. The planned investment, based on the pre-feasibility study, is around USD65 million and the construction might start in September 2025 in line with the license and capacity approval. Further, they declared that CVMR was not involved in bauxite trading and mining as previously reported.
